Marie Sklodowska was the commanding officer of the Canopian Highlanders as of 3085.[1]

Major Sklodowska, serving under Colonel Judith Wood, was executive officer of the mercenary Canopian Highlanders in 3067. A rising star in the Highlanders and a potential replacement for Colonel Wood, Sklodowska gained her position after an explosion killed many of the unit's senior officers during its garrison duty on Gallis.[2] Following the Jihad, Sklodowska was promoted to colonel and commanded the Canopian Highlanders as an official part of the Magistracy of Canopus' Magistracy Armed Forces. By 3085, Sklodowska and the Highlanders were stationed on Cate's Hold.[1]
