Mark Bremmer was, as of 3068, an acting commissioner of the Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission.[2]

History[edit]

Bremmer came from a space-based family, his parents working on an orbital station. Used to space, he quickly ascended through the Com Guards, becoming a Precentor and captain of the JumpShip Blake's Heir by 3054. He operated around Outreach, and had a strong working relationship with ComStar's MRBC commissioner of the time, Merideth Ambridge.[3][1]

In 3054, Bremmer worked with Ambridge to help thwart a Word of Blake plot. After a mercenary unit was convicted of having destroyed the hyperpulse generator on Berenson during their latest mission while in ComStar employ, Ambridge arranged for Bremmer to spirit the mercenaries back to Berenson to investigate the situation and possibly prove their innocence in what she believed was a setup aimed at tarnishing ComStar's reputation.[3]

By 3058, Bremmer had become the head of ComStar's Outreach station.[4]

On 20 October 3068, Bremmer, now an acting commissioner for the MRBC, announced to the Inner Sphere that the MRBC had decided to condemn the Word of Blake and their actions, and that they were blacklisting the Word of Blake as a legitimate employer. That said, the MRBC was reviewing those contracts on file between mercenary commands and the Word of Blake to determine if said units would be listed as rogue or wanted. He also informed the Inner Sphere that Anton Punjari would be the person be overseeing all contract authorization processes and make recommendations on those that are deemed legitimate.[2]

Description[edit]

As of 3054, Bremmer was a well-built middle-aged man with white hair and heavy fists. He was a heavy drinker, and he was known to punch holes through doors, but he was well respected by his crew.[1]
