The Marlow was a Tracker-class surveillance corvette in service with the Hegemony Armed Forces as the THS Marlow. The Marlow distinguished itself in the wake of the invasion and occupation of the Terran Hegemony world of Terra Firma by forces from the Capellan Confederation in 2409. For a number of weeks the Marlow operated covertly in the Terra Firma system, tracking, monitoring and logging Capellan troop movements; the Marlow then called in waiting HAF forces shortly after the Capellan garrison rotated to bring in new forces. With no time to prepare or to become familiar with their new posting, the fresh garrison was easily defeated by the HAF.[1]
