MechWarrior Marvin failed to graduate from his MechWarrior sibko but earned the right to pilot a BattleMech after succeeding in a Trial of Refusal when he was threatened with solahma duty. A reportedly miserable man, Marvin's greatest ambition was to find a single moment of glory in order to justify his existence. When his Star of QuadVees was transferred to the Eighty-second Mechanized Cavalry, Marvin hoped that possible combat against Clan Jade Falcon would provide him with the opportunity for redemption he so deeply desired.[1]
