MatherTechno Incorporated was a manufacturer best known for producing the Vulcan BattleMech.
Overview[edit]
MatherTechno had a facility on Northwind that was liberated by the Star League Defense Force during Operation CHIEFTAIN. General Aleksandr Kerensky had its production lines converted to produce the new Vulcan anti-infantry design to better deal with the bitter close-quarters fighting on the streets of the Inner Sphere's greatest cities.[1] The Vulcan would ultimately be used on the front lines during the SLDF landings on Terra during Operation LIBERATION, where it earned a reputation as a tough urban fighting machine.[2]
