Mech-it-Lube was a franchise for BattleMech service and refits that existed from at least 3018 through the ilClan Era.
Overview[edit]
Third party service centers such as Mech-it-Lube were rare during the Succession Wars but became more common as recovered technology proliferated.[1][2][3]
In 3018, Defiance Industries sued the Chara III franchise to prevent them from violating the no-modification clause that came with Chameleon 'Mechs.[1]

This business first made an apocryphal appearance in BattleTech: The Crescent Hawks' Inception where it was "Mechit-Lube." Some canon sources have also used Mechit-Lube, but the double hyphenated version is the most recent use.
