The FWLS Medusa was a Gorgon-class carrier lost defending against a raid on Aitutaki by the Fourth Regulan Hussars in 3124.[1] Lost in Aitutaki II's ring system after a pirate point insertion, the ship's transponder did not activate, and the vessel was presumed lost. Amateur astronomers occasionally recount seeing the vessel's shadow against the planet's heavy cloud cover.[2]
