Memory Core
Memory Cores are data stores used by the Star League and the Clans. Discovery of such cores have been the biggest means of overcoming the LosTech of the Succession Wars era.
Overview[edit]
Star League era Memory Cores are generally frustratingly incomplete fragments derived from the mammoth Terran Hegemony-based Prometheus Database maintained by Prometheus Inc., thought destroyed by Stefan Amaris' troops during the Amaris Civil War, but still are dramatically important in an Inner Sphere bereft of knowledge.[1]
Recovered Memory Cores[edit]
- Helm Memory Core - general scientific knowledge, discovered in 3028.[2]
- Graus Memory Core - discovered just before the Clan invasion.[3]
- Luzerne Memory Core - Clan naval technology core, raided from a Clan Smoke Jaguar command and control center in 3055[4]
- Hegemony Memory Core (New Dallas Memory Core) - Military hardware intelligence, discovered in 3068.[5]
- One memory core from Balkan, recovered by the Ghost Dogs in 3147.[6]
