Lieutenant Armani strongly believed in the idea that Star League Defense Force officers had to be the very best in order to inspire others, leading him to hold both his tank and crew to the highest standards. In addition to a firm adherence to regulations and die-hard loyalty, Armani demanded that his men uphold clean and professional appearances at all times. When the Word of Blake attacked Tharkad at the start of the Jihad, Armani's crew were busy polishing the tracks on their tank—which likely saved their life when their empty guard post at the capital was nuked.[1]
