Michael Gladstone was an aerospace fighter pilot with the Lyran Regulars that deserted and finally become a pirate.[1]
History[edit]
Michael Gladstone deserted the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces in 3074 and made his way toward the Rim Collection by offering himself and his Chippewa as escorts for merchant JumpShips and DropShips while using this time to acquire enough advanced and experimental technology (legally or not) to modify his fighter.
Gladstone signed with the mercenary turned pirate unit Gordie's Guillotines which had become the scourge of Caldarium and Otisberg. Those pirates raided a Merchant-class JumpShip near Caldarium's zenith jump point where Gladstone wiped out two Seydlitz aerospace fighters before bombarding the JumpShip into submission. The Guillotines were able to capture the JumpShip and its two Mule-class DropShips, netting the pirates billions. The LAAF placed a two-million-kroner bounty on Gladstone's head.[1]
