Chairman Nielson, serving with the Avellar Guard, was stationed on Alpheratz in 3050 and remained there by 3085. Nielson's tenure as commander of the Second Battalion was lengthy, lasting through the Clan Invasion, the FedCom Civil War, and the Jihad.[1][2][3][4][5]
