First Leutnant Mike Monovan II was a member of the 3rd Lyran Guards during the 4th Succession War.[1]
History[edit]
In September 3028, Mike Monovan II commanded the Skirmish Lance of Bravo Company as part of the Second Battalion within the 3rd Lyran Guards when the unit was tasked with invading the world of Vega as part of Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG. The Lyrans quickly drove the defending Draconis Combine forces from two of the planet's three continents. However in October 3028, Tai-sa Theodore Kurita arrived on world to take command of the defending 2nd Legion of Vega & 14th Legion of Vega. He soon launched a counter attack that split the Lyran forces and drove them off world. Mike's Company was tasked with holding off the Combine forces as long as possible so the other Lyrans could escape.[2]
