Major General Mirielle Beaugois was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 423rd Royal BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Stuck on the Lyran Commonwealth world of Carlisle as of 2764 with her Division, due to a lack of transport assets, Major General Beaugois had appealed to both her direct superior and Royal Command for reassignment to somewhere with a greater opportunity for active combat.
Not having received any response, Beaugois shipped an initial staff contingent to Loric nearer the Free Worlds League border using civilian Lyran passenger liners paid out of her own personal funds, in order to make preparation for the movement she intended for her unit.[1]
