Planetary History[edit]

Star League[edit]

Mogyorod was a part of the Apollo Province of the Rim Worlds Republic and was conquered by the Lyran Commonwealth during the 27732775 Republic–Commonwealth war.[14]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Shortly after the Truce of Tukayyid the world was raided by Clan Jade Falcon but turned away by the Dragonslayers.[40]

The Dark Age[edit]

In the early years after the Jihad, the Lyran Alliance invaded the Jade Falcon worlds of Kikuyu and Newtown Square, provoking an aggressive response from Clan Jade Falcon and the counterinvasion of Mogyorod, Clermont, and Machida by the Jade Falcon Epsilon Galaxy[41] in 3080.[33] The planet was reclaimed by the Lyran Alliance shortly after.[34]

Back under Falcon rule in 3129, Mogyorod was the site of a clash between an invading battalion of Lyran Guards and the small Falcon garrison. Incompetent Lyran leadership ensured that the battle became a rout for the LCAF, although the spectacular performance of the unit's Hawk Moth II gunships enabled some survivors to escape.[36]

IlClan Era[edit]

After the Jade Falcon zone fragmented into the Hinterlands, Mogyorod became a de facto independent world. In March 3152 Clan Hell's Horses dispatched a Cluster to add the world to their expanded Occupation Zone, only to discover elements from the Vesper Marches already on-planet and laying siege to the Falcon paramilitary garrison. The Horse and Vesper forces damaged each other severely enough to force both parties to withdraw from Mogyorod.[42]

Military Deployment[edit]

Geography[edit]

Mogyorod has three continents named Géza, Hungaroring, and Ladislaus.[2] The world features rolling mountains and wine-dark seas.[46]

Planetary Locations[edit]

  • Ecclestone[2]
  • Fort Chapman: the planetary capital city, located on Géza[2]
