Nickname | Moonstone Skate |
Affiliation | Clan Diamond Shark |
Parent Command | Sigma Galaxy |
History[edit]
Moonstone Skate served as Sigma Galaxy's command cluster in 3061. The cluster resisted its designation as a "Skate" by Khan Damon Clarke, but lost their Trial of Refusal over the matter.[1]
At some point between 3061 and 3067 Moonstone Skate defended New Kent in a trial of possession against Clan Ice Hellion alongside the 79th Strike Cluster. Ice Hellion aggression forced the Sharks to accept an offer to transfer their New Kent enclaves to Clan Coyote, but the Clan was able to withdraw all remaining personnel and equipment in good order.[2]
Communications intercepted by the Republic of the Sphere in 3085 indicated that Moonstone Skate continued to exist. Despite this, Republic intelligence had yet to lay eyes on the unit by this point.[3]

Tactics[edit]
The Cluster prefers to engage at night, where their warriors specialized training gives them an edge. As members of Sigma Galaxy they fight according to zellbrigen if encountering worthy foes, but soften up foes they deem unworthy with aerospace assets before battle is joined.[1]
Colour Scheme and Insignia[edit]
As members of Sigma Galaxy, Moonstone Skate's colours were aquamarine with blue and green highlights. Their unit insignia was a Sea Fox and a Diamond Shark silhouetted over a full moon.[1]
