The Mordred Lizard is a large reptile found on the world of Camlann within the Free Worlds League.[1]
Description[edit]
As the most feared and reviled of Camlann's giant reptiles, the Mordred Lizard looks the part. The massive, evil looking quadruped is covered in black, irregular scales marked with scars from fights with its fellows. While atop its head sits a crop of horns and its mouth is filled with blade-like teeth. The animal features as the local bogeyman in many bed time stories for Camlann children.
However, the Mordred lizard is the least encountered of the large reptiles of Camlann and few have studied the creature in depth. In truth, the Mordred lizard is little more than an overgrown cow. While it is an omnivore, its preferred diet is the branches of local trees that is shears off with its teeth. They are generally shy and passive, but are quite capable of defending themselves if necessary. If their children are threatened, they will fight viciously and mercilessly.
The Mordred lizard's notorious reputation has led to many hunting parties to remove the perceived threat. This has led the animals to near extinction and the local government has moved to protect the animals with mixed success.[1]
