Mort Buchanan was the commanding officer of the Third Battalion of the Marlette Crucis March Militia during the late Succession Wars Era and Clan Invasion Era.[1]
History[edit]
Kommandant Buchanan's proclivity for mobile warfare lead him to designate Third Battalion's Striker Company as the unit's command force. When in combat, Buchanan fought alongside his Striker Company as they flanked their opponents, while the heavier machines of his Baker and Charlie Companies attacked head-on. While Buchanan's BattleMech was the slowest machine in his command unit, he was capable of maneuvering it with more speed than other MechWarriors could.[1]
