Morton Briggs was a MechWarrior in the First Davion Guards during the unit's 3145 raid against Menkalinan.[1]
History[edit]
While serving as part of First Prince Julian Davion's Task Force Navarre, Leftenant Briggs' unit of the First Davion Guards participated in the late 3145 raid on the Capellan Confederation world of Menkalinan. While the overall operation was a success for the Federated Suns' forces, Briggs was captured by enemy troops when the Menkalinan Home Guard ambushed and brought down his BattleMech. Presumed dead by the rest of Navarre, Briggs was interrogated by the Home Guard until the Department of Military Intelligence agent Candace Genesee rescued him from captivity. Briggs subsequently revealed to Genesee the planned objectives of Task Force Navarre and Genesee's report containing his intelligence ultimately made its way to Exarch Devlin Stone on Terra.[1]
