The DCS Nagoya was a Union-class DropShip that saw heavy use during the early Clan Invasion including at least four encounters with Clan naval craft. During the evacuation of Port Arthur the Nagoya suffered critical damage; although it managed to limp back to its JumpShip it suffered a total system failure shortly after arriving at Braunton. The derelict was towed away for salvage.[1] During this time, Haruka Otanashi served on the Nagoya as chief engineer.
