Overview[edit]
After growing rich in the financial sector, Benton Nagursky moved on to mining to even greater success. Nagursky Enterprises established itself as one of the main mining companies on mineral-rich Mirach, extracting precious minerals vital to the electronics industry on Mirach and several other planets. Vertically integrated, Nagursky Enterprises handled mining, smelting, and sales in-house.[1]
Nagursky Enterprises was part of the Mirach Business Association, an alliance of Mirach-based businesses that, in the wake of the Blackout, built its own private military around converted IndustrialMechs. These included Nagursky Enterprises-owned equipment. In May 3133, the MBA used this force to help the ruling House Ortega fend off a coup attempt by Minister of Information Elora Rimonova.[2]
