Described as a small, water-rich planet with almost no mineral or technological wealth, New Texas is located on the periphery border of the Lyran Commonwealth, subject to frequent pirate depredations.[1]
Canonicity[edit]
The only BattleTech source mentioning New Texas is the TCI Model Set #4 (scenario "Remember the Alamo"). While an official product that was sold by TCI with full endorsement and cooperation of FASA, it does not meet the current critera for canon and must thus be considered apocryphal.
