Nicole Doles was a senior officer in the Broadsword Legion mercenary unit during the Jihad Era.[1]
History[edit]
Captain Doles and the rest of the Broadsword Legion were present on Outreach when the planet came under attack from a major Word of Blake Militia force during the early Jihad. As part of the Legion's contract with the WoB, Doles' unit turned on the Wolf's Dragoons' Wolf Spider Battalion and Doles personally destroyed four Dragoons BattleMechs before the enemy unit was wiped out. After the WoB began annihilating Outreach with orbital and nuclear bombardment, Doles chose to take the remaining members of her company off-world and hijacked a DropShip in the confusion. Reports stated that Doles had told a Dragoons survivor that she refused to be part of such destruction, explaining her defection from the Legion.[1]
