The Ninety-fourth Royal Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In the mid-twenty-eighth century, the Ninety-fourth lost a lot of soldiers and equipment trying to capture enemy units for the sake of extra salvage. After Thomas Wilkins assumed command of the division, he preached always going for the kill, leading to the unit's lighthearted nickname.[1]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Kitalpha,[1] assigned as part of XXII Corps, Fourteenth Army to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region and then transferred to District 3 in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising. The Ninety-fourth was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

Tactics[edit]
The Mechanized Infantry divisions of the Star League were used offensively to exploit gaps in the enemy front created by the BattleMech divisions. They also bore the brunt of defensive actions.[3]
Composition History[edit]
The Division comprised two brigades of mechanized infantry and a single BattleMech brigade. Also attached was a ground aero wing.[3]
