Description

The Northwind Highlanders Command Lance is one of the Mercenary ForcePacks. It contains four plastic miniatures for use in the classic BattleTech tabletop and Alpha Strike games. The box also provides four dry-erase cards, which are intended to directly support Alpha Strike gameplay, and eight MechWarrior Pilot Cards.

Notes

• All four miniatures are unique to this pack, with the Grasshopper and Warhammer both reposed alternate variants of their counterparts in the BattleTech: Inner Sphere Heavy Lance ForcePack and the BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat boxset respectively. The Highlander is a reposed jumping version to differentiate it from the standard version in the BattleTech: ComStar Command Level II ForcePack, featuring both a large jump jet plume that mounts into the miniature's back and plugs into the base as well as the alternate flattened post-"Highlander Burial" remains of a UrbanMech that can be plugged into the base for the Highlander to stand on instead. The final 'Mech, the Gunslinger, is so far uniquely exclusive to this ForcePack.
• The Craig Gulledge pilot card posthumously honors deceased Catalyst Demo Team executive officer and BattleTech author Craig "Gooseman" Gulledge.
• Like many of the Mercenary ForcePacks, the Northwind Highlanders Command Lance was a temporary exclusive with ACD Distribution LLC given exclusive access to this product for the first few months of its release.
