Pre-Jihad[edit]
The Nova Cat Renegades were formed after the Clan relocated to the Inner Sphere and by 3067 they were stationed on Tarazed.[1]
Jihad[edit]
The unit was part of a reprisal assault against the Word of Blake's 42nd Shadow Division during the Jihad. The Renegades traveled with their parent Xi Galaxy to Luthien in July of 3072.[2]
After the Galaxy's escort forces penetrated Blakist heavy aerospace cover, the Renegades, along with rest of Xi Galaxy dropped on top of the Forty-Second's position outside of Imperial City. The Renegades, along with other vengeful Nova Cat units, took no mercy on any forces they encountered. They later attempted to push through the battle lines to enter the Imperial City itself, where the Blakists had been garrisoning.
After a month's worth of fighting, all the clusters were rallied to Waseda Hill by Xi Galaxy's Commander, Jal Steiner; there they were preparing for a second wave of attacks against the Forty-Second and its allies. However, the Word of Blake discovered their location and bombarded the entire Galaxy with six tactical nuclear missiles. The bombardment shattered the galaxy, leaving only a cluster's worth of troops to withdraw from the planet. It is unclear if any of the Renegades survived the bombardment.[3]
