Operation PERSUASION was the first military campaign launched by the reborn Star League. Begun in December 3151 its objective was to reclaim the former Republic worlds around Terra that had fallen to the Capellan Confederation during Operation ACCIPITER. In three waves lasting until June 3152, the Star League succeeded in driving the Capellans rimward and securing enough worlds to form the Star League Protectorate in July.
