Orion B is a molecular cloud located in the Deep Periphery, approximately 1,150 light years spinward from the Taurian Concordat.[1]

System Description[edit]

Orion B was the name given to a molecular cloud located 600 lightyears beyond the Orion Rift in the spinward region of the Deep Periphery, approximately 1,500 light years from Terra, and is one of three major molecular clouds to be found in the region—the others being the Orion Rift and its slightly larger sibling, Orion A.[1] The provided coordinates designate the cloud's center point.

Notes[edit]

Orion B was first identified in 2012 with the publication of Interstellar Expeditions: Interstellar Players 3. Other than the location of Orion B and its definition as a molecular cloud, no information was provided on the feature; in the absence of further information on the Deep Periphery no further detail is likely to be available on the cloud.
