Plot Summary[edit]
The story is set on New Dallas in March 2787, during the First Succession War, and depicts the failed attempts of the New Dallas Militia under Captain Paul Holekamp to protect their homeworld from an invading force of the Free Worlds League, which has already deployed nuclear weapons against major population centers.
