Pasig is named after a city in the Philippines, potentially providing some insight to the origins of the first settlers.[citation needed]

Planetary History[edit]

Star League Era[edit]

During the final years of the Star League, Pasig was the host to a Star League Defense Force garrison.[36]

Succession Wars Era[edit]

In the late 3030s, members of the One Star Faith gathered on Pasig for emigration to Elissa, which they believed to be their prophesied homeworld. For twelve years they worked to gather the 100 million c-bills Hendrik Grimm IV demanded, only for the Oberon Confederation to go mysteriously dark in 3050.[37]

Clan Invasion Era[edit]

Despite scattered reports in late 3051, Pasig was not assaulted by Clan Jade Falcon during Operation REVIVAL.[38] In April, 3055, the mysterious pirate band led by the Red Corsair struck Pasig, making off with supplies and slaves.[39]

Jihad Era[edit]

Pasig was attacked by Clan Jade Falcon on 9 June 3069 along with the neighboring world of Mkuranga, shattering the planetary militia and the Second Wolf Legion in the process. By 15 June the Aegis-class Jade Talon destroyed the capital city of Meriden and the planet's main spaceport with orbital bombardment. Refugees poured into the Jonathan Steiner Spaceport, the only remaining spaceport, desperate to escape the onslaught.[35][40]

In the middle of 3072, the HPG suffered software code corruption and went offline.[41]
