Paul was a notable officer and a ristar of the Wolf Empire's Third Wolf Guard Battle Cluster during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Star Captain Paul was born into a Vickers sibko that appeared to lack promise until he successfully scored three kills during his 3143 Trial of Position. After being assigned a billet in the Wolves' Alpha Galaxy, Paul continued on his path of success by besting the more experienced MechWarrior Silvia Ward in a Trial of Possession for a Wulfen BattleMech. By 3145, Paul was commanding his own Star in the Third Wolf Guard Battle Cluster and had gained the attention of saKhan Garner Kerensky, who expected him to achieve great things in the near future.[1]
