Paul Koin was the commanding officer of the Fifth Ghost Regiment as of 3067.[1]

Chu-sa Koin, serving as executive officer to Tai-sa Wu Ts'ao, was stationed on Nowhere in 3059. At the same time, Koin oversaw the Fifth Ghost's intelligence gathering efforts against Clan Smoke Jaguar which the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery utilized in its strategic planning. Koin's information proved valuable enough that the DCMS only offered minimal pushback to the Fifth Ghost's continuous requests for improved technology.[2] Following the First Combine-Dominion War, Koin was promoted to the rank of tai-sa and commanded the Fifth Ghost on Shirotori by 3067.[1]
