Philius Howe was a notable officer in the Raven Alliance's Fifth Raven Wing Cluster during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
In October 3146, Star Commander Philius' Star of the Fifth Raven Wing engaged with an unidentified group of BattleMechs attempting to scavenge the remnants of a Draconis Combine garrison dating back to the Reunification War. Although the raiders bore no markings, the Raven forces believed them to be Combine interlopers and ordered them to cease all activity, leading to a firefight when the raiders responded with immediate violence. Philius fought a one-on-one duel against the enemy leader's AS8-K Atlas and the two warriors proved to be almost evenly-matched until a lucky shot disabled the raiders' leg. Ultimately, three of the Raven warriors were killed in the fight and the surviving raiders retreated with an unknown artifact from the ruined garrison. Additionally, the pilot of the Atlas that Philius had downed committed suicide before he could be retrieved, leaving the Snow Ravens with plenty of unanswered questions about the event.[1]
