Precentor Martial was a rank held by the overall leader of ComStar's military branch, the Com Guards, and later the Word of Blake splinter faction's Militia. One of the most powerful positions in either organization, it is surpassed only by the Primus and First Circuit Precentors.
The position has been occupied by many notable individuals, most famously Anastasius Focht and Victor Steiner-Davion, with the Word of Blake rank most notably having been held by Trent Arian and Cameron St. Jamais. [1] [2]
