Prime Minister of New Avalon

The title of Prime Minister of New Avalon was an elected position on twenty-third and early twenty-fourth century New Avalon, with a term of one year. However, with no constitutional right to reelection and an extremely short term served in office meant that most Prime Ministers were unwilling to enact any measures going beyond their stay in office.[1]
When Sandra Lockhart was elected, there was a constitutional reform that extended the Prime Minister's term of office for life.[2] Lucien Davion would exchange this title for "President of the Federated Suns" in 2317.[3]
