Overview

The Pulse Laser Rifle is a pulse laser rifle which provides a significant improvement over traditional Laser Rifles because firing the weapon in bursts of "pulses" preserves energy while inflicting more damage with multiple strikes. However, high cost and scarcity limit this weapon to the wealthy few who can afford it. First developed in the Inner Sphere, following their departure the Clans would produce their own version superior in every way to the original. However, here too the weapon is fielded in only limited numbers due to the advanced materials for its construction, and so is uncommon even among Clan troops.
