The Regulan Strategic Military Command (RSMC) was the armed forces of the Regulan Fiefs. Formed in 3086 when the Principality of Regulus reformed itself as a nation, the RSMC oversaw all Regulan Hussars regiments as well as planetary militias serving in Regulan space. In addition to handling defensive or offensive operations against Regulus' enemies, its mandate also encompassed hunting down and destroying any Word of Blake elements unearthed. The RSMC was folded into the Free Worlds League Military in 3148 following the Fief's absorption into the League.

Structure[edit]
The RSMC was headquartered on Regulus and run by the Military Council, which consisted of the Captain-General and six appointed generals. It also encompassed those departments managing the military's support apparatus.[1]

In 3145 the RSMC had a strength of approximately eight combined-arms regiments and one battalion.[2]
