Randal Logan was a member and spokesman for the Inglorious Outkasts.[2]

History[edit]

As a former MechWarrior whose career ended in the arena, Randal Logan joined with others who were likewise scarred by the brutality of arena and looking to lash out violently. They had been organizing in the shadows of Solaris City and causing disturbances behind the scenes by mid-3041.[1] As the year-end FedCom Unification Tournament was approaching, the Inglorious Outkasts commandeered a 'Mech and set it ablaze in the city's downtown, which grabbed media attention and gave Logan an opportunity to give a voice to the organization.[2]

The Inglorious Outkasts plotted to sabotage the protective ballistic glass shielding the crowd and Solaris Council during the final match at Steiner Stadium on 29 December 3041.[3] They got wind that Jake Mason's entry and progression in the tournament was in part an attempt to thwart them,[4] and moved to prevent him from reaching the final round by having the teams in the penultimate match conspire to stop him.[3] Despite Logan's repeated warnings, Mason plowed through and eventually took down the assassin who entered the arena after the glass shielding broke.[4]

Afterward, Randal Logan's whereabouts was unknown.

Notes[edit]

  • Randal Logan was voiced by Anthony Brotherton.[5]
  • Logan's given name is also spelled as Randell in the cinematic upon arrival in Solaris,[2] and as Russell in the closing credits.[5]
