Rastaban Agricultural, also known as Rastaban Agricultural Products, was a grain producer as well as a manufacturer of agricultural equipment and IndustrialMechs in the Lyran Commonwealth.[1][2]

Overview[edit]
Rastaban Agricultural was one of the Lyran Commonwealth's major exporters. They were the owners of over five trillion acres across five worlds that specialized in the production of high-yield, quick-growing grains.
Strangely enough, the largest customer for Rastaban's grains was the Draconis Combine. As House Kurita often failed to produce enough food to feed its population, they had their agents purchase Commonwealth grain through third parties. The government of the Lyran Commonwealth supported this activity and encouraged Rastaban to seek more business within the Combine.[2]
The company's homeworld, Rastaban, was lost to Clan Wolf during the Clan Invasion. Despite this, the company has continued to do well by using a new headquarters on Porrima. They also introduced a new type of grain that grows quickly and resists spoilage during the longest trips. With the thaw in relations after the Clan Invasion and Jihad Rastaban Agricultural increased its operations in the Draconis Combine. They also began working on developing contacts in the various Clan Occupation Zones.[1]
