Raymond Irelon was a Precentor in ComStar's 244th Division.[1]
After Victor Steiner-Davion was named Anastasius Focht's successor as Precentor Martial of ComStar, the 244th's then-CO Shint Dieter attempted to take a Level III worth of troops to join the Word of Blake. Dieter hadn't counted on the resolve of Level III commander Raymond Irelon, who led the division's loyalist troops against them, suffering some losses but preventing all but a few sympathizers from escaping.[2]
Irelon was promoted to command the 244th Division after that, and held the position from 3062 to 3065.[1]
While at first was praised for his earlier work, when he led his unit to aid Prince Victor Steiner-Davion during the FedCom Civil War, Precentor Irelon and his troops were cast out of ComStar. He was killed during the war in 3065.[1]
