Raymond McGavern was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's XX Corps from 2761 to at least 2764.[1]

McGavern was promoted to lead XX Corps in 2761, ahead of when he might have expected, due to the death of his predecessor Major General Keskepoltis. While he did a fair job of maintaining the Corps, McGavern inherited a divided command staff containing a number of people who believed they should have received his job, limiting his ability to drive improvements in unit performance.[1]
