Redemption and Malice is a short story by Blaine Lee Pardoe. It was properly released by Catalyst Game Labs in PDF format through a download link that was emailed out to backers of the 2019 Clan Invasion crowdfunding campaign from 28 February 2020 onwards; due to an oversight some people were able to purchase it early when the story was briefly available as a digital product on the CGL webstore on 6 February.
The story mentioned two previously unknown BattleMech designs and introduced the borrack, an alien riding beast. It also mentioned "The Clave" and, through the reveal of the main protagonist's full name at the end, suggests it to be a remnant of Clan Wolverine.
