Reef is a small Periphery colony of Clan Diamond Shark on the edge of the Chainelane Isles (also known as the Chaine Isles). The colony is home to a bright binary star system.
History[edit]
In 3069 Clan Diamond Shark was in the middle of migrating to the Inner Sphere. Upon finding the star, saKhan Labov, at the behest of Technician Factor Erasmus, issued orders to construct a Recharge Station to more effectively utilize the binary star. An additional repair station and manufacturing complex was constructed deep on the edge of the system on a small planetoid, rich in resources. In order to hide Reef's existence, Clan Diamond Shark began conquering the nearby Chainelane planets.[1]
