The Regal Claw was a Corone-class destroyer built by Clan Snow Raven. One of six Corones to have been constructed by the Snow Ravens, the Regal Claw was lost in action in 2926 in the Bearclaw system. The Regal Claw had been ordered to launch a retaliatory strike against the system by Star Commodore Rachel Lankenau, after Clan Ghost Bear had launched a raid against the Lum Naval Yards. The Regal Claw jumped into the Bearclaw system close to the inhabited world in the system, only to find the Black Lion-class battlecruiser Bear's Den already in orbit. The Ghost Bears issued an immediate challenge, which Lankenau accepted; while the Snow Raven personnel were more skilled than their Ghost Bear opponents, the heavier Bear's Den destroyed the Regal Claw.[1]
