The Remembrance Insignia Tradition is one of the unique traditions maintained by Clan Wolf's Gamma Galaxy.[1]
Gamma Galaxy claims kinship to the warriors of the SLDF and all honorable warriors throughout human history. Each member of the Galaxy wears the ensigns of famous units on their jackets beneath their Galaxy and Cluster patches. These are called Remembrance Insignia and are separate from any awards earned by warriors who are mentioned in The Remembrance. Each warrior accepted by Gamma Galaxy is assigned a unique insignia of a famous military unit and must learn the history of that unit as well as they know their own Clan's history. In addition, each warrior must learn the history of his immediate superior's Remembrance Insignia's unit as well as that of the Galaxy Commanders Remembrance Insignia's unit.[1]
Whether this tradition was maintained in Clan Wolf-in-Exile or if the tradition was adopted by the newly formed Gamma Galaxy in Clan Wolf led by Khan Vlad Ward after the Refusal War is unknown at this time.
