Planetary History[edit]
Second Succession War[edit]
During the Second Succession War, Rexburg fell to the LCAF in 2839 without a fight due to its unpaid mercenary defenders switching sides. The planet was retaken by the FWLM two years later during the "La Reconquista" counteroffensive.[32][10][11]
Jihad[edit]
Rexburg was one of the targets of the Skye and Bolan Province invasion of the Free Worlds League in 3068. The invasion by the combined forces of the two Provinces, named Operation ÜBERSCHATTEN, saw Rexburg occupied along with the worlds of McAffe and Preston by 20 May 3068.[21] As a part of the peace terms agreed between Marshall Jeremy Brett of the FWLM and Duke Alder Umayr of Bolan—and as a result of battlefield attrition—the Lyran Alliance withdrew its forces from Rexburg by the end of 3069.[22]
