Sir Rick Raisho was a MechWarrior, and former Knight of the Republic of the Sphere, during the Dark Age Era.[2][3][4]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Raisho had brown hair and blue eyes.[1]
History[edit]
Raisho grew up in a Draconis Combine-heritage community in the Republic of the Sphere. From his youth, he was fascinated with the Knights, eventually applying to join. He found success as a Knight-Errant, and at age 27, he was nominated for full knighthood after leading the defense of New Kyoto against a raid by a former Free Worlds League planet.[1]
After the New Kyoto battle, Raisho grew cynical, particularly with regard to the Republic. He saw a conflict between the ideals of the Knights and the reality of warfare.[1] By October 3145, he was no longer a Knight.[2] In late 3144, Raisho destroyed a lance of Capellan Gùns that were attacking infantry.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Raisho piloted a Centurion BattleMech, serial number FS775-97T, nicknamed "Mal" in honor of its former owner Malachai Hollensteiner. Built in the Federated Suns prior to the formation of the Federated Commonwealth, it was taken as a personal 'Mech by Malachai upon his retirement prior to the FedCom Civil War. Malachai's son Owen Hollensteiner used the Mech during the Word of Blake Jihad, and later donated it to the Knights after his death, on the condition it served in his father's name.[1]
