Captain Rick Stoner was a member of Beta Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

As of early 3028, Stoner was serving as the commander of Stoner's Company of Charlie Battalion, "The Rolling Stones." At that time Stoner was reputed to be a rational, no-nonsense officer, who secretly despised as theatrical and silly his battalion commander Major Anton Ivanovitch affectation of treating their unit as ancient Soviet style "Red Guards."
After Major Ivanovitch retired following the Battle of Misery, Stoner has happy to move past the Soviet charade, as he assumed command of the Heavy Lance of Beta Regiment's Fourth Provisional Company.
As part of the Fourth Provisional Company Stoner went to fight in the Battle of Wapakoneta,[1] including against elements of the Twelfth Galedon Regulars and the Third Proserpina Hussars on 29 November 3028 near Stiverson Pass,[2] but he ultimately did not survive to leave Wapakoneta.[1]
