Roy von Jubb was a notable officer in the Ninth Lyran Regulars during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
First Leutnant von Jubb initially operated a Commando BattleMech as part of a pro-Lyran Commonwealth unit working within the collapsing Republic of the Sphere. During an attack on the world of Vindemiatrix by the Capellan Confederation, von Jubb's recon lance was shattered and he alone survived after being trapped in his downed 'Mech. After Lyran troops landed on the planet to claim it for their own, von Jubb abandoned his hospital bed and enlisted in the Ninth Lyran Regulars. While serving with the Ninth Regulars, he fought against both the Free Worlds League and the Wolf Empire, and was one of the few MechWarriors left with a functioning 'Mech following the Wolf push into the Commonwealth. While ostensibly the commander of his own lance, combat attrition had reduced von Jubb's unit to just himself.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
First Leutnant Roy von Jubb piloted a Commando BattleMech before its destruction on Vindemiatrix. After enlisting in the Ninth Lyran Regulars, he piloted an Annihilator BattleMech.[1]
