Most of Sadachbia's inhabitants live along the large islands scattered through the northernmost ocean for the simple reason that the most of the inland areas are harsh deserts. The islands in the northern ocean have unusually long growing seasons due to the planet's axial tilt. The planet's trade network radiates outward from the main spaceport city, Kamalabad, which is located on Grangi, Sadachbia's northernmost continent. The planetary capital is Jalna'ir, located on an island/continent near Kamalabad. These two island continents contain most of the planet's population, as the rest of the continents are too treacherous or too hot for human habitation.[1]

Planetary History[edit]

War of 3039[edit]

In the War of 3039 Sadachbia was attacked by Redfield's Renegades and the Eighth Deneb Light Cavalry. They didn't face a DCMS unit in this campaign, but a series of ISF-sponsored psychological operations reduced their effectiveness.[45] To maximize the confusion, the Ninth Dieron Regulars were assigned to Sadachbia and began a harassment campaign against the AFFS units. Eventually the AFFS forces withdrew, but not without destroying a battalion of the Dieron Regulars and sustaining heavy losses themselves.[46]
