Salardion was an inhabited system located approximately 396 light-years rimward from Terra, and primarily within the sovereignty of the Capellan Confederation until some point after 2890.[1]

Salardion was a part of the Andurien Commonality of the Capellan Confederation, located near Antias and Hibuarius, and vanished from maps during the 3rd Succession War.[12][15]

The star map in the apocryphal BattleTech video game states that Salardion was once a hub for local interstellar traffic, but that the planet was quarantined when a deadly plague broke out. As of 3025, the size of the surviving population on Salardion and the current status of the plague are both unknown.

Pirates reportedly use the moons in the system as staging bases.[32]
